SERVICES
Customs Warehouse, Tax Warehouse, Temporary Storage Warehouse
SLT’s on-site facility, offers clients a wide range of customs solutions for the storage and handling of international, domestic and EU goods, by employing both a variety of customs operations and realizing the most beneficial logistics process.
Terminal Containers
SLT has an area of 50000 square metres for the storage and handling of full and empty containers and miscellaneous cargo. We also have a 60 ton weighbridge for the certifying of VGM weight as well as a designated area for the fumigation and decontamination of containerized goods.
Heavy & Special Cargo
The ample space and specialized equipment, along with professional expertise, allows SLT to safely and securely handle special cargo of up to 45 tons, including warehousing, loading and unloading both to and from container boxes, open top and flat rack units.
Refrigerated Storage
SLT has refrigerated warehouses available with a capacity of 400 pallets with a temperature range of +0°C to +15°C, dedicated to the storage and handling of fresh fruit. In addition, there are 35 reefer plug-in sockets and an authorized weighing scale for bananas.

Our facilities are located within the Customs Area of the Port of Gioia Tauro only a few hundred metres from Medcenter Container Terminal.
DPE MINISTRY OF HEALTH
Located inside our facilities is a DPE (Designated Point of Entry), for the inspection and verification of foodstuffs of non-animal origin for human consumption, including products having contact with food, plants and vegetables.

The approved economic operator status (AEO) is a recognized standard in respect to Customs Authorities, regarding the compliance of customs legislation, maintaining an effective system for record management, financial solvency, and best practices in expertise and security.

From the port of Gioia Tauro we guarantee distribution throughout Italy of all types of goods, either complete or partial loads with multiple destinations, by way of our strong partnerships with leading and established couriers.

INDUSTRY 4.0 EQUIPMENT
SLT owns reach stackers, trucks and trailers for moving full and empty containers, diesel and electric forklifts, pallet trucks and electrical reach trucks for cargo handling, all equipped with Industry 4.0 technologies.
